A book for anyone thinking of or about to head for work in Saudi Arabia
Friday, 30 May 2014
So, why work in Saudi Arabia?
This is the most pertinent question.
Each person will have their own reasons for wanting to work and actually working in Saudi Arabia.
My primary reason has been to save money, as the salary is above market rates and the salary is 100% tax free.
An expatriate may work for less than a year while others will work their whole working lives in Saudi Arabia.
The type of job can vary from healthcare, education, chemical, military, aviation and of course the oil industry.

I can safely assume you have a vested interest to read a book about Saudi Arabia.
Maybe you are moving, for work purposes, or you already have. Maybe someone in your family is about to go or is there now. For what ever reason, I hope there are a few insights which can be useful to you.
Think of three things that you immediately know of Saudi Arabia. I can guess that you thought of one of these; Sun, Sand or Oil. Hopefully by the end of the book, you can add a few more to the list!
This is not meant to be an exhaustive guide or even a travel book, but more of a collection of information.
